Busperson/Busser (Part-time)

Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa is currently searching for a high energy, motivated individual to fill the role of Busperson. The successful candidate must be a true service professional committed to the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Busser will be responsible for providing consistently high-levels of service, professionalism, and courtesy to every guest and Team Member.

• Greets guests in a professional manner
• Re-stocks all service areas and supplies
• Clears, cleans, and resets tables in a prompt manner
• Ensures the cutleries, placemats, and glassware are clean and set up properly
• Ensures that every station is fully stocked and ready to go for the next shift
• Assists servers and hostesses when necessary
• Ensures that all opening and closing duties are performed
• Ensures cleanliness of both front and back of the restaurant
• Performs all other duties as assigned by F&B Outlets Manager/Supervisor

He or she will perform these duties in a friendly and professional manner at all times, and ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a passion for customer service and the ability to exceed customers' expectations
• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work well under pressure
• Appearance must be neat and well groomed
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Must be flexible with shifts and hours (evenings and weekends required)
• Good command of and fluent in English
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
