  • Serve as the key legal contact for works councils, union representatives, and collective bargaining discussions, ensuring compliance and fostering constructive relationships.
  • Support HR in managing performance, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and internal investigations.
  • Guide the business through restructuring, site transitions, or workforce adjustments, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on complex legal proceedings or litigation as needed.

  • Collaborate with Legal and HR colleagues across Europe on cross-border employment issues and harmonization efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified German lawyer with successful completion of both state examinations (Volljurist).
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in labor/employment law, with preference for a mix of law firm and in-house roles in industrial or manufacturing settings.

  • Strong knowledge of German labor legislation, co-determination laws, and EU employment directives.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.

Preferred Skills:
