*Summary*
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Shenandoah SOUNDstart in the Winchester VA area. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to children, helping them achieve their developmental goals and improve their daily living skills.
*Requirements*
* VA/WV state license for Occupational Therapy (or willing to obtain)
* Positive, Compassionate personality
* CPR certification
* CE Maintenance annually
* AOTA member preferred
* Excellent written and verbal skills, attention to detail
* Desire to work with early intervention and school aged children.
* Proficient computer skills and/or familiar with online documentation systems.
*Responsibilities*
* Assess and evaluate children's needs to develop personalized treatment plans.
* Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance children's functional abilities.
* Collaborate with families and other professionals to support each child's progress.
* Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Educate families on strategies to support their child's development at home.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
* Provide guidance and support for children with autism and other developmental challenges.
* Stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy.
*Qualifications*
* Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
* Strong knowledge of pediatric development and therapeutic techniques.
* Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or disabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
* Passion for improving children's lives through effective therapy.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
