*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical imaging techniques, including X-Ray, and will be committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Our Orthopaedic practice is located in Rocky Mount. Clinical experience preferred. Full Time benefits include Paid Holidays, Paid Vacation, Health Insurance, 401K and Profit Share. Hours are Mon-Thur 7:45am to 6:00pm.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-Rays, as per physician orders.
* Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
* Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively while adhering to established protocols.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss patient care and imaging results.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the use of radiologic equipment.
* Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
* Assist in emergency medicine situations as needed, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology.
* Assist in clinic with patient intake as well as splinting and/or casting as needed.
* *Requirements*
* Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT-R).
* Proficiency in diagnostic radiology techniques including X-Ray.
* Strong understanding of medical terminology related to radiology and patient care.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate record keeping.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
