Overview
Flomad is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to support the testing and validation of our humanoid robot and its supporting AI systems. This role provides hands-on experience ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of advanced robotics and software platforms through structured testing, documentation, and continuous improvement processes.
You'll work with cross-functional teams to execute test plans, identify and troubleshoot defects, and help refine QA procedures for both hardware and software components. This internship is an excellent opportunity for those interested in developing technical expertise in robotics testing, product validation, and quality systems engineering.
Additionally, you will engage in continuous research and evaluation of emerging AI tools to enhance productivity, staying abreast of the latest technological advancements. This proactive approach ensures our team remains at the forefront of innovation, integrating cutting-edge solutions into our workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing on robotic systems and software modules.
- Document test results, generate reports, and maintain version-controlled testing documentation.
- Identify, analyze, and communicate issues to engineering and product teams, assisting with troubleshooting.
- Support the development and maintenance of quality assurance processes, test plans, and metrics.
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to implement corrective actions and verify solutions.
- Research and apply AI-based QA tools to improve testing coverage, automation, and efficiency.
- Participate in meetings and feedback sessions, contributing insights to enhance QA practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking for testing and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with QA concepts, defect tracking, and testing workflows is a plus.
- Experience with testing frameworks or scripting languages is preferred.
- Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills for working in interdisciplinary teams.
- Interest in robotics, automation, and AI-powered quality assurance.
