\*Overview\* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in various settings, including geriatrics, acute care, and outpatient environments. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. \*Responsibilities\* - Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans to address their specific goals and challenges. - Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments. - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and strategies for daily living. - Maintain a safe and organized therapy environment while adhering to all safety protocols. - Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through continuous professional development. \*Qualifications\* - A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. - Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. - Experience in geriatrics, acute care, critical care, or outpatient settings is preferred. - Familiarity with case management processes and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including those with autism. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. - Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life through rehabilitation strategies. Pay: $57.00 - $67.00 per hour
