Site Supervisor

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to lead our team at the Castlegar Airport. Are you looking to become an integral part of the safety and security team at the Castlegar Airport, helping passengers and airport staff with navigating the airport, access control, and other security needs.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm
Payrate: $22.00/hour
Some of your responsibilities include:

• Patrolling site, observing and reporting any occurrences/breaches immediately
• Offering first class customer service to both client and general public
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
• Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
• Ensuring that all incidents are properly recorded in the occurrence log/incident form
• Contacting and liaising with police personnel if necessary
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of and perform all duties with high safety standards

Your Must-Haves:

• 1-2 years of experience in security
• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisor role
• BC Security License
• Basic First Aid Certificate (OFA 1 or equivalent)
• Class 5 Driver's License clean abstract
• Have lived in Canada for 5 or more years in order to obtain clearances
• You have excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions

Your Nice-To-Haves:

• Previous experience working at an airport
• Bylaw level 1
• Radio experience
