Guest Service Agent

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for our guests from the moment they arrive until their departure. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage various front desk operations efficiently.

Duties

• Welcome and check-in guests upon arrival, providing them with necessary information about their stay and hotel amenities.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Manage phone systems to answer calls, take reservations, and provide information about hotel services.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
• Process check-outs efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction with their stay.
• Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
• Assist in managing front desk operations during peak times to ensure smooth service delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in front desk operations or guest services within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
• Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest requests.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
