Continuing Care Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our long term care residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a caring faith based environment. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Duties

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Support individuals with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Engage in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance overall well-being.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.

Experience

• Previous experience in assisted living or senior care is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with caregiving techniques, including patient care and meal preparation.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients in mobility tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• A caring attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality support.

Pay: $23.17-$24.84 per hour
