You’ll be embedded in the
TikTok Live Data Science team , which partners closely with product managers, engineers, and machine learning experts to grow and optimize the Live streaming experience. This role blends deep analytical work with product strategy — enabling creators, improving viewer experience, and enhancing monetization.
Core Responsibilities
Analyze TikTok Live user behavior, creator ecosystems, and agency engagement.
Design and maintain metric frameworks to evaluate product health.
Conduct A/B testing and apply statistical methods to drive business outcomes.
Generate actionable insights that influence product direction.
Enhance data tools and methodologies through research and experimentation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or similar field.
2+ years in data science or related analytics role.
Proficiency in
SQL .
Strong statistical rigor and business communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with
LIVE or streaming platforms .
Familiarity with
Python or R
for data analysis.
Knowledge of
machine learning
or recommendation systems.
Comfort collaborating with PMs, engineers (RD), and machine learning engineers (MLEs).
