Vacancy Ref: EM0354 Role: Business Manager Industry: Lighting & Electrical Location: East London Overview: Are you a driven and commercially minded professional with a passion for building something new? Our client is launching an exciting new business in the lighting and electrical sector — and we’re looking for a Business Manager to lead the charge. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a fresh business initiative, shaping its strategy, building its customer base, and driving it to success. Package / Benefits: • Negotiable salary DOE • Company Car • Laptop & Mobile Phone • Bonus scheme • Pension scheme • 25 days holidays + bank holidays • Private Health Insurance Responsibilities: • Lead the development and growth of a new business division from the ground up • Drive sales strategy, customer acquisition, and long-term account management • Identify and develop new opportunities within the electrical and lighting markets, focusing heavily on FM customers • Develop a team to work alongside • Oversee day-to-day operations, budgeting, and team development as the business grows • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape commercial strategy and future expansion • Analyse market trends and identify new business opportunities Skills / Experience: • Proven sales or management experience from one of the following backgrounds: Electrical Wholesale, Lighting Manufacturer, Lighting Engineer • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills • Driving Licence • A hands-on approach and the drive to make a lasting impact in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities If you’re ready to take ownership of a new challenge and lead a business to success, we want to hear from you.
