We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role involves working on various types of diesel-powered equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
*Duties*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
* Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Repair air brake systems, hydraulics, and other critical components.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools to conduct repairs and adjustments.
* Align, weld, and fabricate parts as necessary to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
*Skills*
* Proficient in dealership-level diagnostics for diesel engines.
* Strong understanding of air brake systems and hydraulic components.
* Experience with cranes and heavy equipment repair is a plus.
* Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools for repairs.
* Skilled in aligning, welding, and fabricating components as needed.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
