Evening Dishwasher Part Time

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed
• Support food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or assembling ingredients under supervision
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked
• Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
• Support catering events or banquet setups by ensuring all necessary dishware and utensils are available and clean
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors

Skills

• Experience or familiarity with food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, catering, or banquet settings
• Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Good organizational skills to manage dishware flow during busy periods
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary
• Prior culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is valued
