Job Title: Substitute Nurses
Reports To: Building Principal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed
Effective date: 9/2/2025
Salary Range: $ per diem

Position Summary: The above substitute Nurses positions are available for the school year.

Qualifications:

• Current license as a registered professional nurse in New Jersey
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Knowledge, background/experience in nursing duties/responsibilities
• Must meet highly qualified standards
• Pediatrics/Emergency Dept/ICU experience preferred
• Recent hospital clinical experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal/organizational/flexibility skills/Microsoft Office skills
• Duties may include mandatory electronic tracking and reporting of program-related data
• Fingerprinting is required for criminal history background clearance
• Required physical and drug test offered free of charge

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description
Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.
Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.
Terms of Employment: Per diem pay
