Our optical team plays a key role in helping patients achieve their best vision while feeling confident and comfortable in their eyewear choices. We are seeking an experienced Optician to join our growing team.
*Position Overview:*
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical dispensing, lensometry, and patient care. You will work closely with our doctors and optical team to deliver outstanding service, ensure proper eyewear fit, and educate patients on lens and frame options.
*Key Responsibilities:*
· Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses to meet their vision needs and personal style
· Take accurate measurements for proper eyewear fit and lens production
· Provide adjustments, repairs, and maintenance for eyewear
· Educate patients on lens coatings, treatments, and care instructions
· Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing optical showroom
· Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction
*Qualifications:*
· Knowledge of lens designs, coatings, and optical materials
· Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· Basic computer skills; experience with optical software is a plus
· Availability for some evenings and Saturdays as part of a rotating schedule
