Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of tree care tasks operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in tree work or forestry or a related industry but this would be considered an asset not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Tree Work:

• Assist teams with FireSmart projects in the foothills and Canmore
• Use appropriate tools and equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and small equipment.
• Identify and manage potential hazards related to tree work.
• Ensure all work sites are left clean and safe, following proper disposal procedures for debris.
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to minimize risk of injury or property damage.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to maintain a safe work environment and complete projects on time.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training is a plus.
• Experience in tree work, including pruning, removal, and safety practices.
• Strong knowledge of safe working practices.
• Ability to operate and maintain specialized tools and machinery.
• Excellent physical stamina and strength to handle manual labor tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, occasional weekends may be required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, and operating machinery.
