LSEG LSEG is seeking a skilled Real‑Time Cloud Architect to design, build, and maintain cloud‑based solutions to facilitate low‑latency distribution of real‑time content. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms and will collaborate with multi‑functional teams to architect scalable, secure and highly performant solutions. What You’ll Be Doing
Designing and implementing real‑time distribution solutions applying Azure and AWS cloud‑native services Migrating existing on‑prem applications to Azure and AWS cloud Remediating solutions to meet RPO and RTO targets Participating in technical governance reviews and ensuring alignment to standards Conducting feasibility studies and recommending technology stacks Developing and implementing FinOps strategies to enhance cloud financial management Defining and documenting APIs, data models, and integration points Identifying and mitigating technical risks in the architecture Building prototypes or PoCs to validate system designs and technologies Preparing presentations and reports for team members and management Performing technical audits to verify regulatory and security compliance Coordinating with project managers to ensure alignment with timelines and budgets Collaborating with business and product teams to translate high‑level requirements into executable designs Leading meetings with internal customers and effectively negotiating expectations Developing a broad knowledge of LSEG business strategies and product portfolio Innovating on new and improved uses of technology to meet business objectives Understanding the impact of new technologies and their technical implications to supported systems Collaborating with peers, architects and managers to operationalize strategy across cloud environments What You’ll Bring
Expert level understanding of Azure AKS, Azure load balancers, Azure PrivateLink, Azure ExpressRoute, AWS ECS, AWS load balancers, AWS PrivateLink and AWS DirectConnect Experience with real‑time systems, especially real‑time financial market data, LSEG’s RTDS platform, technology governance and standards (TOGAF, NIST, OWASP, FinOps) Observability and business intelligence reporting skills using BigPanda, DataDog and Snowflake Private line connectivity expertise in large‑scale customer‑facing delivery contexts using AWS DirectConnect, Azure ExpressRoute and Cloud to Cloud NaaS Automation skills in GitLab, Terraform and Python Experience and Qualifications
5–10 years of solution architecture experience in a large organization Azure Solution Architect Expert certification AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate level Confirmed experience of real‑time market data systems or a similar domain with event‑based messaging platforms (energy, IoT, video gaming, industrial control systems) Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
