As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patient’s condition. On a daily basis you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.

*Summary*
As an RN Unit Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing patient care within the unit, ensuring high standards of managed care and patient service. Reporting to the nursing director, your role will involve patient assessment, discharge planning, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Your core skills in nursing and medical terminology will be essential, while premium experience in critical care and trauma centers will enhance patient outcomes. Your relevant background in inpatient and outpatient settings will further support our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. *Qualifications*
* Current RN License
* Strong background in managed care and patient service
* Proficient in patient assessment and discharge planning
* Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
* Experience in hospital settings, including critical care and trauma centers
* Familiarity with inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care environments
* Understanding of physiology and nursing best practices
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee patient care management and ensure adherence to managed care protocols.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate effective discharge planning.
* Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold medical terminology standards.
* Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient services.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as necessary, utilizing knowledge of physiology and hospital experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $54.85 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
