Overview Our client, a mid‑sized UK business, is undergoing a major shift from a traditional
B2B model
to a
direct‑to‑consumer (D2C)
operation. They are refreshing their technology stack to support new customer‑facing journeys, improved order management, and better integration with field/installation teams. With limited in‑house engineering, they need a hands‑on Solutions Architect who can design practical, scalable solutions and guide delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Define architecture to support the B2B → B2C transition.
Shape solutions for scheduling, field service, and installation teams.
Integrate new digital front‑ends with existing Microsoft‑based systems (including Dynamics).
Produce HLDs/LLDs and provide architectural direction during implementation.
Work closely with the Head of Technology in a lean technical environment.
Background in
small or mid‑sized organisations
(not enterprise).
Knowledge of
Microsoft Dynamics
and broader Microsoft ecosystem.
Experience supporting
field service or installation workflows .
Able to work independently and communicate well with non‑technical teams.
Experience with inventory/scheduling/MRP or similar operational systems.
