Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Shift Supervisor to oversee operations during assigned shifts at our Heytea store. In this role, you will lead a team to ensure efficient store performance, uphold service quality, and maintain high operational standards. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be a critical part of the Heytea brand's continued expansion and reputation for excellence in the food and beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with company standards.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain overall operational excellence.
  • Resolve customer concerns and handle issues professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee cash handling, POS operations, and end-of-shift cash reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory levels, complete stock checks, and communicate restocking needs to management.
  • Ensure proper execution of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices; complete routine checks such as temperature logs and cleaning schedules.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new employees and provide ongoing performance feedback.
  • Support store marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns during shifts.
  • Manage task assignments and delegate responsibilities to team members.
  • Execute opening and/or closing procedures, ensuring all operational checklists are completed.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant environment by following provincial health regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in food service and retail management — preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable with cash handling and POS operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • (Considered a strong asset) Valid Food Handler Certificate
  • (Considered a strong asset) Experience in bubble tea, café, or similar F&B environments
  • (Considered a strong asset) Multilingual abilities (e.g., English, Mandarin, Cantonese)
