What youll do
Lead software engineering projects across the product development organization and shape the technical architecture. Work out the technical scope of cross-team software projects based on the business requirements. Collaborate with development teams to design robust and performant solutions for SEON and our customers. Analyze the performance of existing systems and devise improvements. Document design decisions as Architecture Decision Records and review implementations of technical plans. Prepare deployment and migration plans and improve deployment processes. Collaborate with engineering teams to push solutions to production in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinate with Product Management to prioritize, schedule and deliver new developments. Work with the SRE team to troubleshoot production issues and enhance observability. Manage project implementations and coordinate between teams. What youll bring
Strong working knowledge of modern web development technologies (two or more of Java with Spring, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python). Experience measuring and improving the performance of distributed systems. Strong understanding of how web services and SaaS applications work. Expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and multiple database technologies (e.g., ClickHouse, Neo4J, Redis, Elasticsearch). Experience with modern DevOps tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, ELK stack). Strong organizational skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and prioritize workload. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Whats next
