*POSITION OVERVIEW *
We are seeking an experienced contract IT Project Manager to lead complex client consulting engagements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing enterprise-level technology and software development projects, preferably with experience in outsourcing relationships, enterprise data management, vendor management, and/or financial systems. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex stakeholder environments, anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time while meeting client requirements.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *
*Project Leadership & Management*
* Provide end-to-end management of multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards
* Develop comprehensive project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
* Coordinate cross-functional teams including client staff and multiple vendors
* Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder communications
*Vendor & Outsourcing Management*
* Oversee outsourcing relationships and vendor performance management
* Establish and oversee governance frameworks for offshore and nearshore development teams
* Monitor vendor deliverables and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
*Quality Assurance & Risk Management*
* Implement and maintain project governance frameworks and quality standards
* Conduct regular project health checks and performance assessments
* Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, security policies, and regulatory requirements
*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*
*Education & Certifications*
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
* PMP and additional certifications (Agile, Scrum Master, ITIL) preferred
*Experience*
* 5+ years of IT project management experience in enterprise environments
* Demonstrated experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
*Technical Skills *
* Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)
* Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
* Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and IT infrastructure
* Knowledge of database management systems and data integration technologies

* Experience managing outsourcing relationships and vendor partnerships
* Experience with enterprise data management projects, including data architecture, data governance, master data management, data migration, and business intelligence
* Experience with Oracle Financials implementation and maintenance
* Experience supporting audit and compliance initiatives (SOX, ITGC, etc.), ensuring proper documentation and controls
Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour
