*Lead Service Technician*
A large, full service mechanical contractor located in Anchorage Alaska, is currently seeking a qualified foreman level Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration Lead Service Technician. We're currently in search of a skilled and motivated Lead Service Technician to help us deliver top-notch solutions to our clients in the commercial and industrial sectors.
In this multifaceted role, you'll utilize your extensive 4-6 years of field experience to oversee and execute tasks related to Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration systems. Your expertise in VAV air handling systems, hydronic heating systems, packaged rooftop equipment, air conditioning systems, DDC, and pneumatic control systems will be crucial as you tackle complex challenges.
We're seeking a Lead Service Technician who not only possesses the technical skill required for this role, but also excels in communication and leadership. You'll interact directly with clients and collaborate closely with team members, ensuring effective communication and mentorship. Your role also involves contributing to the company's growth through client engagement and marketing efforts.

To excel in this role, you'll need to demonstrate proof of your 8000 hours of hands-on experience in the HVAC division of the trade, achieving journeyman status. Your well-maintained appearance, along with strong written, verbal, and computer skills, will set you apart. Basic hand tools are a must, and a commitment to 8 hours of annual continued education will be essential to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
*Certification Requirements:*
\*Union HVAC Service Journeyman status of 5+ years or Union HVAC Service Foreman
status of 3+ years - Required
\*Universal EPA Certificate or Type 1&2 EPA Section 608 Technician Certification - Required
\*MOA Journeyman sheet metal or plumbing card - Require within 6 months of hire.
\*Indoor Air Quality Certification - Recommended
\*North American Technician Excellence (NATE) - Recommended
\*OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 - Required
\*First Aid/ CPR Certification - Required
\*ESCO Institute (HVAC Excellence)- Recommended
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $180,000.00 per year
