Come work with a company that Cares about you and our veterans, We are looking for a caring and compassionate CT technologist that will join our team as a mobile Imaging CT technologist. This position will work on a mobile CT (no more than 100 mile radius) at 5 different VA locations in Kansas City, and the hours are 730am – 4pm Monday - Friday. Since this position requires you to travel to each location, Redhawk will provide a car and a gas card to drive to each location.
*Key Responsibilities*·
Perform CT exams using established protocols and radiation dose optimization techniques.·
Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and provide compassionate support during exams.·
Ensure adherence to ALARA principles (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).·
Screen patients for allergies and contraindications to contrast media.·
Administer IV contrast agents safely and documents per policy.·
Perform QA/QC tests, maintain equipment, and report service issues promptly.·
Collaborate with radiologists and other staff to ensure efficient workflow.·
Maintain accurate documentation in RIS/PACS and EHR systems.·
Comply with HIPAA, infection control, and Redhawk Medical safety policies.
*Education & Certification*·
ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) required.·
Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.·
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.·
State licensure where applicable.·
Commitment to continuing education and CT safety updates.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,400.00 - $2,400.00 per week
Work Location: In person
