We are seeking a Senior Level Technician with Responsibilities that include:
* The ability to report to our Westfield office location M-F 8am-5pm.
* Clean driving record to report to client sites when necessary (Company vehicle provided)
* Provide helpdesk support for assigned client networks.
* Monitor, maintain and keep IT infrastructure up to date and secure for assigned clients using established tools.
* Independently Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ranging from hardware malfunctions to software bugs and network problems.
* Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, PCs, Servers and network devices.
* Act as a technical lead for assigned client technical work.
* Develop and maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures for assigned clients.
* Collaborate with client management to align IT systems with business goals.
* Typical network sizes being managed are 20-200 machines.
* Most capable applicants with higher compensation would serve as an escalation technician for other staff and lead internal and client facing projects.
Qualifications:
* Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users. You must enjoy communicating with people and providing assistance to a wide variety of end users.
* Ability to prioritize workload and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve network infrastructure and policies.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT role, preferably within an MSP environment.
* Advanced knowledge of IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
* Advanced knowledge of Office365/AzureAD/Exchange/SharePoint
* Advanced knowledge of Firewalls/VLANS/WIFI/VPNs/Routing/IP Networks
* Experience with Hypervisor platforms
* Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues
* Experience with IT project management is a plus.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are highly desirable.

- Ability to spin up a new Office365 Tenant, setup azure Sync, recognize license differences, program transport rules and have experienced understanding on Azure AD, and powershell scripting for Azure?
- Advanced knowledge of DNS records and how they relate to Email systems, web systems and capability of modifying/generating these records?
- Experienced capability to independently install, configure and troubleshoot windows 11 workstations and Windows Server 2016 and up?
- Experience with Hyper-V and VMware with the ability to stand up a new virtualization platform and install new servers on those platforms?
- Ability to modify Firewall/switch/wifi programming and to design and create Access Rules, NAT rules and VLANS?
