As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for patients through tailored rehabilitation programs. You will work in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective care plans. Your expertise in physiotherapy and patient care will empower individuals to regain mobility and independence while providing compassionate support throughout their recovery journey.
*What you’ll do*
* Assess patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans based on their needs and goals.
* Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
* Educate patients and their families about treatment options, home exercises, and strategies for managing conditions.
* Document patient progress using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to ensure continuity of care.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize discharge planning and transition to home or community care.
* Provide specialized care in areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and acute care settings.
* Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy to address specific pain points and enhance recovery.
* Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in physiotherapy practices.
*Basic qualifications*
* Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to physical therapy practices.
* Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings, including hospital environments and clinics.
*Preferred qualifications*
* Familiarity with discharge planning processes and home & community care experience.
* Proficiency in EMR systems for effective documentation and patient tracking.
* Background in treating diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
* Credentialing with insurance companies such as Medicare and the VA a HUGE plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
