What is the role about?
We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant with a strong background in US Payroll configuration and support. You will play a key role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting Workday Payroll solutions for our clients.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor—guiding clients through best practices, helping them enhance their existing configurations, and ensuring smooth, compliant payroll operations across their Workday landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or support the deployment, configuration, and post-implementation support of Workday Payroll solutions, with a focus on US Payroll.

Partner with client Payroll leads to analyze, enhance, and expand existing Payroll configurations and business processes.

Manage functional adjustments and configuration updates while evaluating downstream impacts across modules.

Support clients in troubleshooting payroll issues and optimizing system performance.

Collaborate closely with internal and client teams across Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking to ensure seamless integrations and accurate processing.

Prioritize and respond to client cases, maintaining a high level of service delivery.

As a member of the VR team, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management is essential for this role.
