Class A CDL Driver OTR

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trucks, including those with manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, box trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route details and freight documentation.
• Follow established routes while being flexible to adapt to changes in schedules or delivery requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
• Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading cargo at various locations.

Skills

• Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles as well as automatic ones.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized truck types is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Clean Proven track record as a delivery driver with experience in route driving.
• Ability to load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $0.48 - $0.63 per mile

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
