Ziks Family Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical pharmacy, with experience in acute care settings. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, managing medication therapy, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The Pharmacist will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and support overall health management.
*Duties*
* Review and interpret physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
* Provide clinical pharmacy services including patient assessment, medication management, and counseling.
* Compounding medications as necessary, adhering to aseptic techniques.
* Administer immunizations and provide education on medication use.
* Utilize pharmacy software and EMR/EHR systems for efficient medication management.
* Conduct inventory management to ensure the availability of medications and supplies.
* Collaborate with healthcare providers in critical care settings to develop patient-specific therapeutic plans.
* Engage in pain management strategies for patients requiring acute care.
* Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
*Requirements*
* Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
* Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
* Clinical pharmacy experience is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
* Ability to perform patient assessments and develop individualized medication plans.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education.
* Familiarity with pain management principles and practices.

Pay: $57.14 - $62.25 per hour
