As a Senior Mobile Application Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. You'll collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile solutions that support our digital banking initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Architect and develop mobile applications using Ionic, Angular, Capacitor, React Native, Flutter, and native technologies (Swift, Kotlin). Implement secure authentication flows using biometrics, passcodes, Transmit, Ping Federate, and SAML. Integrate with backend APIs and manage session tokens and cookies securely. Optimize performance for biometric and token-based logins, push notifications, and app startup times. Manage app deployment via Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console, including TestFlight and beta testing workflows. Collaborate with QA and UAT teams to ensure high-quality releases and rapid iteration cycles. Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews. Required Qualification
5+ years of experience in mobile application development. Proficiency in Angular, Ionic, Capacitor, React Native, Flutter, and native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin). Experience with RESTful APIs, JWT, OAuth, and secure session management. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and App Store/Play Store deployment processes. Strong understanding of mobile security, including device token management, biometric authentication, and mock data provisioning for app reviews. Preferred Skills
Experience with Ping Access, and F5 integration. Knowledge of Firebase, Push Notification Services, and native plugin development. Exposure to international wire approval flows, indicative rate handling, and financial app compliance. Salesforce certification or experience with enterprise mobile platforms is a plus. Soft Skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Visa sponsorship/support is based on business needs. We do not anticipate providing visa sponsorship/support for this position. The typical base pay range for this role is between $143k -182k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
