A Chief Technology Officer is sought to develop and execute a forward-looking technology strategy.

• You will be responsible for developing and executing a forward-looking technology strategy that leverages AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science to drive business value.
• Additionally, you will lead an international team of approximately 100 employees and managers, playing a pivotal role in shaping our technological future in close alignment with the Chief Product Officer (CPO).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that drives innovation and business value.
• Lead an international team of experts and manage their performance to achieve organizational goals.
• Cultivate a culture of data-driven decision-making and foster a spirit of innovation within the organization.

Requirements:

• Experience as a CTO or similar role, with a focus on AI, transformational projects, scalable tech strategies, organizational development, and team leadership.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership skills with strong business acumen and preferably experience in marketplaces (recruiting, staffing, ATS or similar) in DACH/EU.
• Solid understanding of modern software architecture and agile development, ideally with experience in cloud, microservices, event-driven architectures, and modern frontends.
• Ability to integrate AI/ML solutions into products, processes, and the organization, fostering a data-driven decision-making and innovation culture.
• Passion for building strong engineering cultures where people grow and take ownership, along with experience leading international, distributed teams.
• Commitment to treating data as a strategic asset, proactively prioritizing privacy, and fostering organizational trust through adherence to recognized standards and certifications.
