Senior QA Engineer role at LSEG. The product protects business from financial crime and reduces risk when carrying out KYC due diligence screening obligations, used and trusted by the world’s biggest companies for over two decades. The role requires a testing specialist with experience in the technical analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation and modification of accurately engineered information systems to meet agreed business needs. Ensure compute architecture supports the execution of critical business applications and develop high-level continuance plans in the event of a lapse in the architectural infrastructure. Work closely with development teams to understand product architecture, functionality, and to ensure project success Take a proactive approach to identification, prevention and support for defects Write automated tests and test harnesses for applications and services under test Write and review test strategies, test plans and test cases based on agile stories and/or product requirements Contribute to the automation framework development Essential Skills/Experience Required
3+ years of quality engineer experience with a proven background in writing structured automated tests Demonstrable experience in Web application automation test framework and in developing high quality automation frameworks Experience in TypeScript or JavaScript programming language Experience in BDD, TDD, Data driven and Hybrid automation frameworks Demonstrable experience to programmatically test products; measure test coverage; develop automation, profiling, and performance/load testing tools Experience with Web application standards and REST APIs (Web services, JSON, HTTP, HTTPS) Experience with automation, web deployment and engineering environment tools like Jira, Gitlab, Gitlab Pipeline Experience in testing applications on Cloud infrastructure (AWS) is a plus Experience using Git commands is a must Self-driven, passionate, a team player with a "can do" attitude Adaptable and can quickly learn new technologies Desired Skills/Experience Required
Good experience using Playwright and Web Elements Good understanding of object-oriented programming techniques Experience in using tools such as VS Code, JMeter, Postman About LSEG & Diversity
