is seeking an experienced and highly motivated
QA & Automation Test Engineer
responsible for testing, maintenance, and ongoing support of the platform, acting as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to stay at the forefront of QA & Automation testing technologies. Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with the software design team regarding verification protocols Identify weaknesses and target areas of software applications Develop ideas for automated testing procedures Identify, report, and troubleshoot problems Design and install software databases Assess quality issues and prepare test reports Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field Experience as an automation test engineer Knowledge of programming, automation systems, and databases Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java and VBScript Understanding of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols Excellent written and verbal communication skills Skills and Technologies
Java, Selenium, JMeter, Postman Additional Technologies (Nice to have)
Nginx, IPv4 Networking, C/C++/Java/Python/Go/Rust/Node, Test automation, Relational and non-relational data technologies Personal Traits
Passion for technology, initiative, self-learning, teamwork, ownership Certifications (Advantageous)
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) for J2SE 6.0 Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD) ITILv3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management Location: Slough - Berkshire, UK Salary: £40,000 to 50,000
