is seeking an experienced and highly motivated
QA & Automation Test Engineer
responsible for testing, maintenance, and ongoing support of the platform. The role acts as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform. The candidate should be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to stay updated with the latest QA & Automation testing technologies. Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with the software design team regarding verification protocols Identify weaknesses and target areas of software applications Develop ideas for automated testing procedures Identify, report, and troubleshoot issues Design and implement software databases Assess quality issues and generate test reports Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field Previous experience as an automation test engineer Proficiency in programming, automation systems, and databases Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java and VBScript Understanding of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols Strong written and verbal communication skills Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
Java, Selenium, JMeter, Postman Preferred Technologies and Experience
- Nginx - IPv4 Networking - Software engineering languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Rust, Node.js - Test automation - Data technologies: relational and non-relational databases Personal Traits
- Passion for technology - Initiative and self-learning - Team player with ownership and contribution to team capabilities Certifications (Optional but Advantageous)
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) for J2SE 6.0 Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD) ITILv3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management Role and Location
Role: QA & Automation Test Engineer Location: Slough, Berkshire, UK Salary Range
£40,000 to £50,000
