is seeking an experienced and highly motivated
QA & Automation Test Engineer
responsible for testing, maintenance, and ongoing support of the platform. The role acts as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to stay at the forefront of QA & automation testing technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with the software design team regarding verification protocols.
Identify weaknesses and target areas within software applications.
Develop automated testing procedures.
Detect, report, and analyze problem areas.
Design and install software databases.
Identify quality issues and prepare test reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Previous experience as an automation test engineer.
Proficiency in programming, automation systems, and databases.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java and VBScript.
Strong understanding of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications Java, Selenium, JMeter, Postman
Additional Technologies and Experience (Nice to have):
Nginx
IPv4 Networking
Programming in C/C++/Java/Python/Go/Rust/Node
Test automation expertise
Experience with relational and non-relational data technologies

Location and Salary Slough, Berkshire, UK. Salary: £40,000 to £50,000
