**Job Summary**
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Assembler will assemble to documentation set and to company quality standards within a specific time frame. Work is performed under direct supervision in a Production environment within our Bedford facility.
**As an Assembler, your main responsibilities will include:**
+ Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget
+ Assembling, modifying, reworking, and repairing electronic and electrical assemblies
+ Work from documentation set including wiring and assembly drawings, work instructions, and engineering specs
+ Repetitive electrical assembly and subassembly using hand tools, including powered, solder irons and wire crimpers
+ Wire preparation, crimping and soldering lugs, basic wire connection
+ Operates within standard operating procedures and to quality standards
+ Performs other light assembly work as directed
+ Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS)
+ Properly use required PPE
+ May participate in LEAN Events, "Six S" activities, action teams etc
+ Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
+ Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation screws, washers, nuts and have basic understanding of build documentation
**What you require to be successful in the role:**
+ Possession of a High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
+ Minimum of 1+ years of related work experience within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment preferred
+ Knowledge of soldering an asset
+ Manual Dexterity
+ Ability to pay close attention to detail
+ Ability to follow instructions (mostly written, but some oral/visual instructions are provided)
+ Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
+ Must follow company safety policies
+ Ability to work well in a team environment
+ Must be able to meet quality standards
