Job Title: Lead Developer Clearance Required: Public Trust Clearance Work Location:
Kansas City, MO, Fort Collins CO, and Remote Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Lead Developer supporting the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) under the Customer Revenue and Operations Planning (CROP) program. This project focuses on improving how USDA delivers services by using better technology, data, and processes. Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level subject matter expertise for development tasks. Offer advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments. Conduct functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on complex problems. Apply principles, methods, and knowledge of specific functional areas to task order requirements. Provide advice on esoteric problems that require extensive subject matter knowledge. Design and prepare technical reports, studies, and related documentation. Create charts and graphs to record results and prepare and deliver presentations, training, and briefings as required by the task order. Required Qualifications
Education Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent years of work experience Experience/Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience managing developers Experience analyzing functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts Expertise developing block diagrams and logic flow charts Ability to translate detailed design into computer software Expertise testing, debugging, and refining software to produce the required product Experience preparing required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation Proficiency enhancing software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency Experience providing technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met Experience in information system design, including application programming on large-scale DBMS and the development of complex software to satisfy design objectives Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in a related field Experience with development in federal projects Familiarity with geospatial data formats and standards Knowledge of web services and APIs Experience with spatial analysis and modeling techniques Experience in the federal space is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $78,652 - $109,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Factors considered in final pay include relevant work experience, skills, certifications, education, and contract provisions. Application Deadline:
