On call Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As a Security Guard, you will be instrumental in enforcing policies and procedures while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.
• Conduct regular surveillance to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing theft or vandalism incidents.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies.

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable.
• Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV equipment.
• Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and practices.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents clearly.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
