We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our dynamic team in a private practice setting. In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to animals in urgent need. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your veterinary critical care experience to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions. This position requires leadership skills, efficient work flow, and balanced multi-tasking.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough examinations of animals presenting with urgent health issues
* Administer emergency treatments and perform life-saving procedures
* Utilize animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the animals and the staff
* Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient
* Perform emergency surgery including but not limited to foreign body removal, splenectomy, cystotomy, GDV surgery, laceration repair and c-sections.
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
* Veterinary urgent care experience is highly preferred
* Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and husbandry practices
* Exceptional client service ethic
* Surgical experience
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple cases simultaneously
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
