Qualifications & Skills
* *Age:* Must be at least *18 years of age*.
* *Education:* High School Diploma or GED is required.
* *Training:* Previous childcare teacher experience is desired, but we will *mentor the right candidate*.
* *Credentials:* Childcare training, classes, certificates, college credits, or degrees are highly valued.
* *Knowledge (Helpful):* Experience and knowledge of Licensing Rules and Regulations, YoungStar, Creative Curriculum, and WEMLS is helpful but not necessary.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
* *Curriculum & Activities:* Plan and provide a variety of engaging educational experiences, including *art, music and movement, literature, math and science, nature, sensory, and cooking.*
* *Documentation:* Provide curriculum plans, individual child development profiles, and other records as needed.
* *Compliance:* Understand and follow all Edgar Child Care Inc. Policies, Employee & Parent Handbooks, and fulfill scheduled hours.
* *Professional Growth:* Attend staff meetings and professional development trainings, and complete all Continuing Education requirements.
