Über
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Provide patient care services, including medication therapy management and counseling
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage inventory and order medications and supplies as needed
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Conduct medication safety reviews and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Train and supervise pharmacy staff
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles and practices
- Familiarity with utilization management and medical management processes
- Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff
Note:
- Training is provided
- Knowledge of long term care is a plus
- Knowledge of Dispill / Bubble pack management is a plus
- Knowledge of Digital RX pharmacy software is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
