TITLE: Admin Clerk

REPORTS TO:  Admin Supervisor

Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada's largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.

Job Summary

The Administrative Clerk primary responsibility is to prepare the daily bank deposits for Revelstoke Mountain Resort and ensure that each payment is supported by all relevant documents. The Administrative Clerk will also be responsible for preparing weekly reconciliation reports, payables and assist with payroll functions.

Essential Job Functions

Cash Office
• Count, verify, and deposit all cash and cheques on a daily basis.
• Process change requests and maintain an adequate level of change in the safe.
• Maintain an accurate float inventory for all Point of Sale locations.
• Maintain cash room standards and procedures.
• Audit daily register activity.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial documents.
Accounts Payable
• Preparing incoming supplier invoices for payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Communicating w/ vendors regarding payment status and invoice questions
General Accounting Support
• Prepare the weekly reconciliations and reports
General Office Support
• Assist with different administration tasks as required.

Required Qualifications and Abilities


• Knowledge of bookkeeping and general office procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy when entering and preparing financial documents.
• High level of accuracy and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with others.

Compensation and Benefits

This is permanent full-time year around position
• $22.00/hr
• Benefits include extended medical benefits plan, Family Season pass, resort discounts and other benefits.
