About this position:

Later is looking for a full-time co-op starting January 2026 to help support the product team; you will be working on new product features and having a meaningful impact on the company. If you enjoy tackling challenges, learning about new technologies, thinking of creative solutions, and sometimes blazing a new trail, we want to talk to you. This position is the perfect opportunity for you to learn and grow. This will be an 8-month term.

Technical Qualifications:

  • In the 3rd year of statistics, computer science, math, physics, economics, or other technical undergraduate program; consideration may be given to graduate students as well. Creative thinker, fast learner, good grades.
  • Strong coding ability in R and/or Python, passionate about data science and the technology industry. Some experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with and technical understanding of statistical modeling & machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with big data/deploying models into production is a plus (Spark, AWS, Docker, Flask, plumber).
  • A passion for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) is a big plus.

Our approach to compensation:

We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.

Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.

To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted.

Additionally, all permanent team members are granted stock options and are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.

Salary Range: $4,000 per month
