We are a leading supplier in the packaging industry, specializing in seals and buckles for steel and plastic strapping solutions. Our products ensure secure, efficient packaging for a wide range of industries. Headquartered in London, Ontario, we are expanding our reach and seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive growth not only in our core product lines but also in new business segments for high-volume, small metal parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within North America, with supplemental account development in Europe.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share for seals and buckles used in steel and plastic strapping.
  • Develop and maintains effective working relationships with customers and suppliers while gaining an understanding of their businesses, organization, and needs. 
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing the annual sales budget; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Implements sales programs by developing sales actions. 
  • Utilizes a high level of self-direction to plan sales calls with appropriate frequency & priority. Communicate activities effectively to sales staff & other departments to ensure consistent shared knowledge base. 
  • Plays a lead role in enhancing ongoing relationships, developing growth with existing customers and targeting new accounts consistent with the overall sales strategy. Leads the effective implementation of new programs and products.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities in high-volume, small metal parts markets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular site visits, presentations, and technical support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, quality and customer service) to deliver effective solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, and competitive analysis.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maximizing profitability.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in industrial packaging, metal components, or related manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand product applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across North America (up to 50–60%); occasional travel to Europe required.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
