Are you passionate about technology and working for a company that values their employees?
We are looking for a knowledgeable and client-facing Citrix Consultant for our Calgary branch to support our clients with designing, implementing and upgrading various Citrix technologies You will also have sufficient technical depth to work with other virtualization, server and storage technologies. This is a 3 or 6 month contract position, with a potential of extension, depending on client needs. A Day in the Life:

Provide senior technical support for all server infrastructure components (hardware, software, OS, firmware, network, cloud infrastructure)

Consult with users and evaluate requirements, recommend designs, provide cost analysis, plan projects, and coordinate tasks for projects

Work with teammates to design and implement complex solutions

Installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades of servers, with a focus on utilizing technology to achieve business objectives

Act as Tier 3 escalation point for service desk

Perform incidents root cause analysis and identify work around or fix

What You Bring:

5+ years of relevant experience in a client-facing system administration and infrastructure support role

Experience with the following CXitrix technologies:

- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops On-Premises

- Citrix Cloud

- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops on Azure

- Citrix Provisioning Server

- Citrix FAS

Broad knowledge of IT concepts and technologies (server platforms, networking, communications, security) which could include:

· Windows Server

· Microsoft M365

· Microsoft Azure

· Microsoft Azure MFA

· SharePoint, Terminal Services, Citrix

· Microsoft AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP

· Virtualization VMware,

· Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity (NetScaler GSLB)

Post-secondary education in a computer related discipline is desirable. Alternatively, an appropriate combination of education and experience may be considered.

Strong documentation and organizational practices

What Makes You Extra Awesome:

Experience with Citrix Netscaler

Application Virtualization experience (App-V or Citrix App Layering)
