Are you excited about robotics, R&D, and automation? We’re looking for a passionate and motivated *Software Automation Engineer* to join our innovative R&D team. If you're eager to learn, grow, and make a real impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you'll help develop and improve software for our pick and place, nano positioning, and automated vision systems. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to support the development of cutting-edge automation technologies.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Develop software solutions* for pick and place, nano positioning, and automated vision systems, focusing on automation, motion control, and image analysis.
* *Collaborate with the team* to understand project needs, gather system requirements, and apply your coding skills to help solve complex challenges.
* *Implement machine vision algorithms* to support object detection, positioning, and tracking for automated systems.
* Write *clean, efficient, and maintainable code* that controls automation systems with precision.
* *Test and troubleshoot* software, ensuring it works smoothly and efficiently in real-world applications.
* Create *clear documentation* for both technical and non-technical team members to ensure everyone understands the software and its capabilities.
*Desired Qualifications:*
* A *degree in: Computer Science*, *Engineering, *or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* *Strong interest* in robotics, automation, and R&D with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
* Experience with *programming languages* such as C#, C++, and Python along with strong knowledge of embedded development environments, debugging tools, and communication protocols like RS-485
* Experience or interest in *machine vision* systems, including libraries like OpenCV (a plus but not required!).
* Understanding of *motion control* and automation technologies.
* Experience with EtherCAT system development.
* Ability to *work collaboratively* in a team, with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.
* A *passion for technology* and a willingness to dive into hands-on development and testing.
