Lead/Principal DevOps Engineer – eDV Cleared Permanent opportunity for a Lead/Principal DevOps Engineer with active enhanced DV clearance.
Salary up to £100,000 DOE. Manchester based offices.

Who are we? We’re hiring for Lead and Principal DevOps Engineers to join a consultancy delivering cutting‑edge solutions for industry‑leading National Security clients.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple high‑impact, innovative and mission‑critical projects, shaping solutions that make a real difference. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, an active Enhanced DV clearance is essential.
Principal DevOps Engineer responsibilities
Act as hands‑on technical DevOps Engineer and leader.
Operate in an SRE/DevOps environment.
Manage containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Ansible or Terraform.
Develop scripts and tools in Python, Java, or Spring Boot.
Communicate with stakeholders and lead teams.
Qualifications & Skills
Active enhanced DV clearance.
Experience in leadership and stakeholder management.
Strong communication abilities.
Essential Technical Skills
Experience operating in an SRE/DevOps environment.
Expertise in containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with IaC (Ansible, Terraform).
Proficient in coding (Python, Java, Spring Boot).
Strong communications and stakeholder management.
