We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. *Responsibilities*
* Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
* Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system.
* Maintain stock levels by organizing inventory and restocking shelves as needed.
* Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits.
* Utilize effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
* Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
* Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales counter and surrounding area.
* Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
* Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is an advantage.
* Ability to handle stock management efficiently, including lifting and moving products as necessary.
* Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
* A proactive approach to upselling products to enhance the shopping experience.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining inventory accuracy.
