The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the CNC machines, as well as other machine operation duties.
*PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Safely load and unload parts in and out of the CNC machine
* Timely run the CNC machine cycle, to meet production established goals
* Continuously monitor the CNC machine settings & equipment to ensure production goals are achieved
* Conduct periodic quality checks to confirm parts meet correct specifications
* Make adjustments to machines, as needed
* Keep work station clean and organized
* Practice and perform LEAN Manufacturing concepts
* Perform other duties as requested from management
*Required Skills & Abilities *
* Must be able to speak & read in English
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Detail oriented
* Working knowledge of tooling & general machining practices
* Reading & interpreting manufacturing drawings
*Physical Requirements*
* Must be able to lift and move up to 25lbs independently, on a regular basis
* Must be able stand for extended periods of time
*Education/ Experience*
* High School diploma/GED
* 2+ Years CNC Machine Operation experience
* Measuring tools experience; calipers, micrometers
*Other: *
* Hourly (non-exempt) position- eligible for overtime pay, after working 40 hours
* Position works Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
