Software Test Engineer Apprenticeship

We are looking for an Intern Software Test Engineer F/M.

You will contribute to the verification of medical devices to aid the automated diagnosis/prognosis in the radio-oncology field. You will join an Agile (Scrum) development team and use your skills in software quality control to support a cross-discipline and innovative scientific project. You will be involved in verification strategies, implement these strategies using your knowledge of the tools and test good practices, and ensure the traceability of all operations.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Build strategies for the verification of software solutions.
• Write functional test procedures & technical documentation.
• Implement & maintain automated tests for different components of a web platform.
• Describe, setup & maintain test environments & datasets.
• Provide execution reports for test campaigns compliant with the QMS.
• Continuous improvement of tools & development processes.

Technical Environment:

• Robot Framework
• JIRA/Confluence
• X-Ray
• Git
• Jenkins/Nexus
• Docker

Appreciated Knowledge:

• Kubernetes
• Azure
• Continuous integration
• Performance & robustness tests for web applications.
• Good practices of the security of web-based software.
• Automation of functional tests.
• REST API testing.
• Generation of test execution reports (Test plan, report, coverage matrix, etc.).
• Attention to detail & regularity in the documentation and verification operation traceability.

Searched Profile:

Education: In the process of obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering (in computer science or equivalent).

Qualities:

• Good communication in French and English, spoken & written.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, a taste for innovation, team spirit.
• Wide technical & scientific culture.
